Heating & Hot Water Plumbing Support
Heating-related plumbing enquiries — radiators, pipework, valves, and hot water plumbing support. Not Gas Safe work — see important note below.
Important — Heating-Related Plumbing vs Gas Safe Work: Heating-related plumbing support provided by FlashFlow Plumbing Limited relates to the plumbing aspects of heating systems — such as radiator connections, heating pipework, valves, and hot water plumbing. This does not imply Gas Safe registered work, boiler repair, boiler installation, or any combustion-related service.
Where gas, boiler, combustion, electrical, or any other regulated works are required, appropriately qualified and registered professionals must be used. If you are unsure whether a heating issue requires a Gas Safe engineer or a plumber, please describe the issue in your enquiry and we will advise accordingly.

About Heating Plumbing Support
Radiator Plumbing & TRVs
Radiators connect to the central heating circuit through supply and return pipes. Radiator plumbing enquiries cover leaking radiator connections, TRV (thermostatic radiator valve) replacement, balancing valve adjustment, and radiator removal or installation in terms of the pipework connections. Note: radiator work that involves bleeding, chemical treatment, or boiler-connected diagnostics may require a heating engineer.
Heating Pipework
The pipes that carry heated water around a property can be copper, plastic, or steel. Leaks from heating pipework, damaged sections, or corroded joints can often be addressed as a plumbing repair. Describe where the pipework is, whether it is exposed or concealed, and what you have noticed.
Valves & Connections
Service valves, lockshield valves, and gate valves on heating circuits may require replacement or repair over time. Seized or stuck valves can be a plumbing issue that we can review. Motorised valves and zone valves that are electrically operated should be reviewed by a suitably qualified engineer.
Hot Water Plumbing
Hot water supply pipes, unvented hot water cylinder plumbing connections, hot water storage tank pipework, and hot water pressure issues are within scope of heating-related plumbing enquiries. Unvented systems must only be worked on by an appropriately qualified professional — if you are unsure whether your system is vented or unvented, mention this in your enquiry.
Heating Leak Enquiries
A dripping radiator valve, a weeping pipe joint, or a slow leak from heating pipework are typical heating plumbing leak enquiries. Describe where the leak appears to be and whether it is from a pipe, a joint, a valve, or the radiator itself.
